The Broome Bounty Food Recovery
Program began in the mid-90's with a handful of donors and
recipient agencies which serve meals to the hungry and homeless.
Today we provide over 55 agencies with perishable, surplus
food from area retailers, wholesalers and institutions.
Recovered food goes to area soup kitchens, missions, shelters,
children's programs, food distribution sites, and pantries.
New recipient programs have been added monthly, as well as
new donors.
