Chaplain Betty Pomeroy
Chaplain Betty Pomeroy is a certified member of the National Association of Catholic Chaplains and is on staff at the Broome County Council of Churches as Director of Hospital Ministries and serves as Hospital Chaplain for United Health Services at Wilson Memorial and Binghamton General Hospital. For over 25 years, Chaplain Betty Pomeroy has facilitated the one and only Broome County Support Group for people infected and affected with HIV/AIDS and has recently received The Outstanding Partner Legacy Award from the Southern Tier Aids Program for this outstanding commitment. Chaplain Betty Pomeroy is also an experienced leader in Retreats and Seminar Events and has lead various groups in topics ranging from: "Facing Our Fears/Setting Boundaries," to "Dreams...How God Speaks to Us."
