Faith in Action Volunteers

"Faith in Action Volunteers is a network of individuals from religious congregations. Its purpose is to assist elders in need, individuals living with disabilities and their families in an effort to enable them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life."

Faith in Action Bus

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has funded over 1,000 Faith in Action programs nationwide all aimed at helping the elderly and people with long-term health conditions or disabilities to maintain their independence. The Foundation had allocated $100 million to the interfaith volunteer caregiving movement.  Currently there are 650 programs.
