COMMUNITY HUNGER OUTREACH WAREHOUSE

CHOW, through its network of 30 food pantries located in Broome County Congregations and over 30 soup kitchens and community meal programs, distributes over 130,000 pounds of food each month.

Michael Leahey – Director

Michael's experience in program development and management in the human services field provides a strong background for his work at CHOW. Michael previously held leadership positions with Catholic Charities of Broome County and The Cotting School in Lexington MA.  He received his B.S. in Human Services from Empire State College and is enrolled in the Master of Public Administration/Certificate of Non-Profit Management program at Binghamton University.

CHOW, the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse feeds the hungry of Broome County through its network of over 30 food pantries and over 35 soup kitchens and community meal programs.  CHOW distributes about 2 million pounds of food each year.
